Prof. Dr. Samir Saadoun Al-Jubouri, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, Al-Kitab University, has received a letter of appreciation from Prof. Dr. Haider Dhahed, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in recognition of his scientific efforts and distinguished role in the success of the initiative “Baba Karakr University Encyclopedia for Academic Women and Sustainable Development.”

The recognition was given to Dr. Samir Saadoun in his capacity as Chair of the Ministerial Scientific Committee for the initiative, alongside appreciation for the efforts of all committee members who contributed to the completion of this national scientific project, which aims to support academic women and promote the concepts of sustainable development in higher education institutions.

Through the letter of appreciation, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research emphasized the importance of the efforts made by the scientific committee in ensuring the success of the initiative, which was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and launched at Baba Karakr University on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

This recognition reaffirms the distinguished academic standing of Al-Kitab University’s faculty members and their active role in participating in national initiatives and programs that contribute to the advancement of scientific research and the service of the academic community.
