who we are ?
The Department of Cultural Relations serves as the link between our university and academic and research institutions locally and internationally. The department aims to organize and develop cultural and scientific relations with universities and research centers, whether at the local, Arab, or international level .
The department acts as a bridge for communication with various institutions by establishing numerous agreements and academic twinning, enabling the university to keep pace with scientific and cultural development by sending faculty members abroad to complete their postgraduate studies . The department is also responsible for organizing participation in scientific conferences and exhibitions, and negotiating scientific cooperation agreements .
Al-Kitab University, through the Department of Cultural Relations, aspires to establish its position as a global academic platform by building strategic partnerships with universities and scientific unions, activating international cooperation programs, contributing to raising the academic and research level of faculty members, and promoting scientific and cultural exchange .
The Department of Cultural Relations at Al-Kitab University seeks to provide an integrated academic environment that supports the development of teaching and research staff by offering scholarships and advanced academic programs, contributing to the preparation of qualified cadres capable of supporting society and its institutions, and enhancing Iraq’s position globally .
Strengthening Partnerships: Strengthening ties between the university and various international universities through the signing of academic and scientific cooperation agreements, and expanding areas of collaboration with leading scientific unions and organizations .
Supporting Academic Mobility: Supporting scientific and research development by sending students for undergraduate and postgraduate studies through scholarships and fellowships, and organizing study leaves outside Iraq .
Cultural and Scientific Exchange: Enhancing continuous cultural and educational exchange with Arab and foreign countries by attracting expertise and disseminating knowledge, and motivating university affiliates to stay informed about and benefit from academic developments .
Attracting Talent: Hosting experts and professors from outside Iraq, and providing opportunities for faculty members to participate in international conferences, awards, and scientific competitions .
