Residency Rules

Compliance with the internal rules and regulations of the dormitories at Al-Kitab University

Maintain cleanliness of the room, dormitory, and hallways. Do not throw waste or food scraps from balconies.

Adhere to the closing times of the main dormitory door.

Do not allow relatives or guests to enter or stay overnight. Maintain complete silence within the dormitory, hallways, and courtyards.

Avoid causing any physical damage to the room, hallways, or public facilities.

Do not use electrical appliances with high power consumption (especially when the dormitory generator is running).

Do not bring electronic disc players, satellite receivers, or any other prohibited materials.

Do not bring mobile phones with cameras into female dormitories only.

Do not bring computers without obtaining official approval.

Do not bring iPads or internet modems.

Do not bring prohibited substances including (alcoholic beverages, hookah, dominoes, table tennis, playing cards, gambling equipment, etc.).

Do not stay overnight outside the dormitory without notifying the dormitory administration and with the guardian's knowledge.

Do not be absent from the dormitory without a valid excuse for more than 10 days for undergraduate students.

Do not be absent from the dormitory without a valid excuse for more than 20 days for postgraduate students.

Students undertake to return all dormitory materials in their possession upon departure, in the same condition as received. Otherwise, students shall be responsible for any resulting damages.

Students undertake to vacate the dormitory no later than the day following the completion of final examinations.

Obey all regulations and laws, uphold high moral standards, treat the dormitory administration and supervisors with respect, and follow all their instructions.

The annual housing fee is 800,000 IQD, paid in two installments of 400,000 IQD each. This affordable pricing reflects our commitment to supporting students with cost-effective living options.

Our student housing covers 2,660 square meters across two modern buildings with three floors, offering private, functional spaces that support academic focus, community life, and student comfort.

Student Rooms Designed for Comfort

Our student housing offers 246 rooms, each fitting three students. Every room includes beds, wardrobes, a refrigerator, a kitchen, chairs, a private bathroom, and air conditioning for a comfortable stay.
