The Higher Committee for Preparing the Self-Study Report for Programmatic Accreditation at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Kitab University, held its third meeting at the Kirkuk Governorate Building, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assist. Prof. Dr. Omid Omar Darwish, in the presence of the steering committee members, heads of sub-committees, and with the participation of a number of external stakeholders.
Attendees included Eng. Abdullah Mirwais Hassan, member of the Kirkuk Governorate Council; Dr. Manaa Ibrahim Ramadan, Technical Director at Kirkuk Teaching Hospital; and Dr. Abdullah Abdul Aziz Ahmed, representative of the Kirkuk Pharmacists Syndicate.
The meeting discussed the opinions and proposals of external stakeholders regarding the development of the academic program and enhancing the alignment of learning outcomes with labor market needs and healthcare sector requirements. Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration and partnership between the College of Pharmacy, health institutions, and the Pharmacists Syndicate. This cooperation contributes to improving the level of practical training for students and developing graduates’ skills in line with modern professional changes.
Attendees praised the efforts made by the College of Pharmacy in pursuing programmatic accreditation, reaffirming their continued support for initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of pharmaceutical education and achieving academic accreditation standards.
