The Citizen Affairs Division at Al-Kitab University organized a scientific seminar titled “Citizen Affairs Toward Effective Management to Serve the Community,” presented by Mr. Mustafa Shaker, Head of the Citizen Affairs Division at the university, in the presence of a number of university professors and faculty members.
The seminar addressed the vital role played by the Citizen Affairs Division in enhancing communication between the institution and the community. This is achieved by receiving, following up on, and processing citizens’ requests in accordance with approved administrative procedures, contributing to improving the quality of services provided and ensuring an effective response to the needs of beneficiaries.
Mr. Mustafa reviewed the key tasks and responsibilities of the division, as well as the mechanisms for handling requests, suggestions, and complaints. He emphasized the importance of adopting modern administrative methods to enhance performance efficiency and promote the principles of transparency, governance, and community service.
The seminar also featured discussions and interventions from attendees, addressing ways to develop the work of Citizen Affairs and the importance of building effective communication bridges between educational institutions and the community, which positively reflects on service quality and the achievement of institutional goals.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants affirmed the importance of continuing to hold such scientific and awareness-raising events, which contribute to the exchange of expertise, promote a culture of public service, and reinforce the university’s role in serving the community alongside its academic and scientific mission.
