Prof. Assist. Dr. Omid Omar Darwish, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Kitab University, signed a joint scientific cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate – Kirkuk Representation, represented by the Head of the Kirkuk Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Sinan Mohammed Ali (Pharm.D.), with the aim of enhancing academic and professional cooperation between the two parties.
The agreement includes the implementation of a joint summer training program as well as scientific and practical activities that contribute to the development of students’ skills at the College of Pharmacy, raising their scientific and professional competence in line with labor market requirements and approved academic standards.
Dr. Omid Omar, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, affirmed that this step is part of the college’s commitment to enhancing the practical aspect of students’ education, while actively building effective partnerships with professional institutions. This contributes to improving student competence and better preparing them for the job market, in alignment with academic standards and the requirements of modern pharmaceutical practice.
This agreement stems from the principle of integration between educational and professional institutions, contributing to the enhancement of pharmaceutical education quality, supporting learning outcomes, and preparing qualified pharmacy cadres capable of delivering outstanding health and community services.
