Al-Kitab University Faculty Member Earns PhD with Distinction in Nursing Sciences

Dr. Himen Kaka Mirza, a faculty member at the College of Nursing, Al-Kitab University, has achieved a remarkable accomplishment by earning a PhD in Nursing Sciences from the College of Nursing and Midwifery at Kerman University of Medical Sciences in Iran, following a successful defense of his dissertation, which was awarded the grade of Distinction.

The dissertation, titled “The Lived Experiences of Pediatric Oncology Nurses in Caring for Children with Cancer,” explored the human, professional, and emotional aspects and challenges faced by pediatric oncology nurses while providing healthcare. The study contributes to enhancing the scientific understanding of this field, improving nursing practices, and elevating the quality of services provided to children with cancer.
