In a new academic achievement that enhances the international standing of the University of al-Kitab, the Technical University of Berlin and the German Academy for Energy and Climate Protection (IKEM) have officially announced the selection of Prof. Dr. Samir Saadoon al-Jubouri—a faculty member in the College of Engineering at the University of al-Kitab—as a visiting professor and member of the international research team in Berlin for a three-year term starting January 2026. Dr. al-Jubouri will contribute to advanced research on the production, storage, and transportation of green hydrogen, one of the most important future sources of clean energy. This collaboration marks a significant step in strengthening the presence of Iraqi universities in international scientific research and reaffirms the global reputation of the University of al-Kitab.
