Al-Kitab University held a meeting today (Monday) dedicated to discussing the action plan for implementing the requirements of programmatic accreditation, attended by the Scientific Assistant to the University President, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hazaa Dawood, and a number of college deans.
The meeting reviewed the steps and procedures necessary for applying programmatic accreditation standards across various academic programs, contributing to the enhancement of educational quality and the fulfillment of accreditation requirements in line with approved standards. Discussions also addressed mechanisms for developing study plans, improving the efficiency of learning outcomes, and documenting the academic and administrative procedures supporting the accreditation process.
Dr. Hazaa Dawood emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts among colleges and academic departments to ensure the optimal implementation of the established plan. He stressed the need to adhere to the required standards and indicators to achieve the university’s goals of raising academic performance levels and strengthening its scientific standing.
Attendees also discussed a number of proposals and recommendations related to the stages of programmatic accreditation implementation, as well as mechanisms for continuous monitoring and evaluation. This ensures the achievement of academic quality and the development of educational programs in line with labor market requirements and modern trends in higher education.
