Assist. Prof. Dr. Yassin Ahmed Mohammed, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies Engineering at Al-Kitab University, participated as a member of the master’s thesis defense committee for a thesis titled:
“Centralized Maximum Power Point Tracking for Photovoltaic Systems Using Robust Control Strategies and IoT-Enabled Communication Architectures”
Submitted by the student Walid Abdulaziz Ahmed Abdulrahman to the Council of the Technical Engineering College – Kirkuk, at the Northern Technical University.
The thesis focused on the design and implementation of an intelligent platform for Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) in photovoltaic systems using the ESP32 microcontroller and IoT technologies, aiming to improve solar energy production efficiency and enhance remote monitoring and control capabilities.
The defense committee consisted of:

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montasser Eidi Sharif – Member & Supervisor
At the conclusion of the defense, the thesis was approved after fulfilling all academic requirements, with commendation for the research efforts and the results that contribute to supporting energy applications.
