The Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, organized a seminar titled “The Risks Arising from Unemployment Among Graduates,” delivered by Lecturer Ghaleb Rahman Hamah Karim. This event is part of the institution’s efforts to raise awareness among students and graduates about the challenges they face in the job market.
The seminar addressed a number of important themes, most notably the social, economic, and psychological effects of unemployment on graduates, in addition to examining the causes behind high unemployment rates among youth and ways to reduce them through skill development, professional training, and encouraging entrepreneurship.
The seminar also highlighted the role of educational institutions in preparing students for the job market and the importance of training and qualification programs in bridging the gap between educational outcomes and market needs.
This event is part of the ongoing efforts of the Continuing Education Center and the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division to support students and graduates, empower them to face economic and social challenges, and enhance their opportunities for securing suitable employment.
