The College of Pharmacy at Al-Kitab University organized a voluntary visit to the Autism Center at the Children’s Hospital in Kirkuk, as part of the university’s efforts to promote volunteer work and humanitarian initiatives.
The visit was supervised by faculty members, including Professor Dr. Omid Darwish, Assistant Lecturer Sara Mohammed Hameed, and Assistant Lecturer Ibtihal Najm, accompanied by a number of third-year students. They were welcomed and seen off by Dr. Taimour, the hospital director, and Dr. Mustafa, the director of the Autism Center.
The visit included a tour of various halls in the center, including the sensory perception hall, where attendees learned about the activities carried out by the center to serve children. The students also participated in some activities with the children and distributed gifts to them as a gesture of support and solidarity.
This visit is part of Al-Kitab University’s efforts to promote values of cooperation and social solidarity among students and the local community.
