Al-Kitab University Participates in the Launch Conference of the Unified Central Admission Platform at the University of Baghdad

Al-Kitab University participated in the launch conference of the Unified Central Admission Platform, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up, held at Al-Hakim Hall, University of Baghdad, in the presence of the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Hussain Al-Mousawi, and a number of university presidents and scientific assistants from Iraqi universities.

Al-Kitab University was represented at the conference by Prof. Dr. Iyad Barzinji, President of the University, and Dr. Haza’ Dawood, Scientific Assistant to the University President.

The conference witnessed the announcement of the launch of the electronic application form for central admission to government universities for the general channel and the channel for families of martyrs for the academic year 2026–2027, as well as a detailed presentation on the mechanisms of application and admission through the new electronic platform.

Al-Kitab University’s participation in this conference reflects its commitment to staying updated on the latest developments in university admission procedures and understanding the mechanisms and details of the platform’s operation. This contributes to enhancing the university’s readiness to provide guidance and support to students, helping them complete their application procedures and select their majors in accordance with approved regulations and instructions.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research clarified that applications for the form are available electronically for graduates of the first round and those covered by the second round through the “Qadam” platform application, and will continue until Sunday, October 4, 2026. Students are encouraged to review the student guide and verify their choices before finalizing the application form.
