With profound sorrow and grief, Al-Kitab University received the news of the passing of a number of its students in a tragic traffic accident in the center of Kirkuk. The university extends its deepest condolences to the families, colleagues, and professors of the deceased students, praying to Almighty God to accept them among the martyrs and the righteous, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, and to inspire us all with patience and solace.

On this painful occasion, the university has declared three days of mourning (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), during which funeral ceremonies will be held for the souls of the victims. The university also announces that it will cover the medical treatment of the injured.
