The College of Law, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, held a scientific seminar titled “Towards Enhancing Youth Opportunities to Access Political Decision-Making Positions” on Saturday, April 4, 2026, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics and notable official and academic attendees.

The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Jasim Mohammed Ahmed and Assistant Lecturer Sazan Malik Khader, who discussed the importance of politically empowering youth, the necessity of including them in decision-making positions, as well as the challenges facing this demographic and ways to address them through supportive legislation and policies.

The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Adnan Qadir Zangana, along with a number of college professors and university students, who engaged with the seminar’s themes through discussions and interventions that enriched the session.

This seminar is part of a series of activities organized by the Continuing Education Center aimed at spreading political awareness and enhancing the role of youth in building society and actively participating in public life.
