Under the patronage of the President of Al-Kitab University, the Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Kitab University, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy, celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing a special event attended by the President of Al-Kitab University, Prof. Dr. Ayad Barznchy, the Scientific Assistant Dr. Hazaa Dawood, the Administrative Assistant Dr. Abdulilah Hameed, and the Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Omed Omar Darwish, along with a number of university professors and students.

The event featured the inauguration of a special exhibition at the College of Pharmacy by the University President, showcasing women’s most prominent achievements and their active role in various scientific and societal fields, as well as highlighting their contributions to the education sector and scientific research.

Attendees emphasized the importance of supporting and empowering women in academic institutions, praising the significant role they play in the development process and nation-building, and their distinguished contributions to supplying educational institutions with scientific competencies and expertise.

This event is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Kitab University celebrating International Women’s Day, affirming women’s status and their vital role in supporting the march of scientific and social progress.
