The Technical Engineering College at Al-Kitab University signed a scientific memorandum of understanding with the Technical Engineering College for Computer and Artificial Intelligence / Kirkuk on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

The delegation from Al-Kitab University was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Dean of the Technical Engineering College, who was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Montaser Eidi Sharif, Dean of the Technical Engineering College for Computer and Artificial Intelligence / Kirkuk, in the presence of the respective assistant deans and heads of scientific departments.

The memorandum aims to enhance scientific and academic cooperation between the two parties, activate joint scientific research, organize conferences and workshops, in addition to exchanging scientific visits and cooperating in training and capacity-building fields. This contributes to developing technical and engineering education and serving the community.

On the sidelines of the signing, the delegation from Al-Kitab University reviewed the scientific capabilities, infrastructure, and laboratories available at the college, praising the level of development and organization.

Both sides affirmed that this memorandum represents an important step toward an effective strategic partnership that translates into practical programs contributing to advancing scientific and research endeavors at both the local and national levels.
