The Continuing Education Center at the University of al-Kitab, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a specialized training course on mental health, with the participation of a select group of university professors and attended by a number of faculty members and university students.
The course lectures were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulqader Hussein Hamad, Instructor Dr. Kamal Juma’ Amin, Assistant Lecturer Marwan Qader Hama Rashid, and Assistant Lecturer Ghaydaa Jassim Mohammed. They addressed multiple topics related to the concept of mental health, its importance in the life of individuals and society, in addition to methods of enhancing mental health and ways of dealing with psychological stress.
The course lasted for a full week and witnessed significant interaction from participants through discussions and questions, which contributed to enriching the scientific and applied aspects of the topic.
This course comes within the efforts of the University of al-Kitab to develop the scientific and practical skills of its affiliates and to enhance health and psychological awareness within the university environment and society at large.
