The Department of Forensic Science at the University of al-Kitab Organizes a Practical Workshop on Crime Scene Investigation Techniques in Cooperation with the Forensic Investigation Directorate in Kirkuk.

The Department of Forensic Science at the University of al-Kitab organized a distinguished practical workshop in cooperation with the Forensic Investigation Directorate in Kirkuk, focusing on showcasing the latest techniques and methods in crime scene detection and analysis.

The workshop was attended by the President of the University of al-Kitab, Prof. Dr. Iyad Barzinji, along with the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Haza’ Dawood, and the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Abdulilah Hameed, in addition to a number of university professors and students.

This workshop was part of a series of scientific and practical activities aimed at enhancing students’ academic and practical capabilities and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application. Participants were introduced to the latest procedures and techniques used in collecting and analyzing evidence at a crime scene, in addition to receiving hands-on training on some modern tools and equipment used in this field.

Participants emphasized the importance of such workshops in raising the level of students’ professional competence and motivating them to excel in the field of forensic science, in line with international standards in criminal investigation and evidence analysis.
