University of al-Kitab Wins Award for Second Consecutive Year Among Iraq’s Top Ten Researchers

The University of al-Kitab has once again demonstrated academic excellence by securing a prestigious award among the top ten research projects in Iraq. The recognition was presented during a ceremony held at the University of Halabja, under the patronage of the Kurdistan Regional Government and organized by Halabja Governorate, the University of Halabja, and the Key Science Foundation on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The award was received by Prof. Dr. Sameer Saadoon al-Jubouri, a faculty member in the College of Engineering / Department of Unmanned Aircraft Systems Engineering, who ranked third among Iraq’s top ten researchers. Notably, Dr. al-Jubouri also received the same award in 2024 during a ceremony held at Salahaddin University in Erbil. We extend our warmest congratulations to the University of al-Kitab, the College of Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Sameer al-Jubouri on this well-deserved achievement.
