College of Education at the University of al-Kitab Celebrates World Arabic Language Day

The College of Education held a celebration on the occasion of World Arabic Language Day, which commenced with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, in an academic and cultural atmosphere reflecting the status and importance of the Arabic language.

The celebration included a speech delivered by the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Uday Jasib Hassan, in which he explained the significance of the Arabic language as the language of the Holy Quran and the language of “Dhad.” He also welcomed the establishment of the Arabic Language Department in the College of Education at the University of al-Kitab, emphasizing its role in serving the Arabic language and elevating it academically.

The event featured a number of valuable scientific presentations. Prof. Dr. Hamdi Hameed Yousif delivered a lecture titled “Arabic Among World Languages,” and Instructor Dr. Dana Hussam Al-Din Nouri spoke about “Arabic Language Between Contemporary Challenges and Authenticity.”

Instructor Mohammad Noaman Murad also gave an intervention titled “Arabic Language in the Eyes of Artificial Intelligence,” while Instructor Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Ani concluded the presentations with a lecture titled “Arabic Language: Identity and Authenticity Across Ages.”

This celebration reaffirmed the status of the Arabic language and its civilizational and scientific role throughout history.
