The Continuing Education Center at the University, in cooperation with the Kirkuk Branch Directorate of the Gas Filling and Services Company, organized an educational seminar on the uses of liquid gas fuel and vehicle gas systems. This event is part of their joint efforts to raise awareness about the importance of alternative energy sources and their safe use.
The seminar was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Haza’ Dawood, and the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Abdulilah Hameed, along with a number of university professors and students, reflecting the academic and institutional interest in such scientific activities.
The topics of the seminar were presented by Engineer Mina Saadullah, who outlined the concept of liquid gas fuel and the mechanism of vehicle gas systems, highlighting their key economic and environmental benefits. The presentation also clarified the safety procedures that must be followed when using them, as well as their role in reducing the consumption of traditional fuel and limiting harmful emissions.
At the conclusion of the seminar, there was notable interaction from the audience through questions and interventions, with participants emphasizing the importance of continuing to organize such educational seminars that contribute to raising students’ level of knowledge and enhancing cooperation between the university and service institutions.
