Al-Kitab University Organizes a Mourning Stand in Memory of Two Students

In a heartfelt expression of solidarity and compassion, Al-Kitab University organized a mourning stand this morning to honor the memory of two of its students, Sarmad Mohammed Saeed Najm, a first-year student in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, and Shaboul Mustafa Abdulrahman, a first-year student in the Department of English Language, who sadly passed away following a tragic car accident.

The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, along with several faculty and administrative members, and a large number of students. All participants expressed their profound sorrow and grief over the loss of two young and promising members of the university community.

The stand began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of the deceased, followed by brief speeches that conveyed heartfelt condolences, prayers for mercy upon the departed, and wishes of patience and strength to their bereaved families.

Through this mourning stand, Al-Kitab University reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a supportive and compassionate academic environment, emphasizing the importance of unity and emotional support among all members of its community, especially in times of sorrow.

May the souls of Sarmad and Shaboul rest in eternal peace, and may their families be granted patience and solace during this difficult time.
