The College of Education at Al-Kitab University organized a scientific workshop titled “Modern Teaching Methods and Psychological Education” , which saw distinguished attendance from academic professors and school teachers from various specialties. The workshop began with an opening speech by Dr. Ala’a Ahmed Muhammad, the session moderator, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of the topic in developing and enhancing the effectiveness of the educational system.

Dr. Imad Refaat Medhat then delivered a lecture discussing the latest educational methods in teaching scientific subjects and how to motivate students to engage in active learning. His presentation emphasized the need to adopt innovative teaching strategies that keep pace with modern developments, pointing out the role of technology in education.

Following this, Dr. Serwan Abdullah Saleh presented a workshop on modern psychological education and ways to enhance students’ mental health in the school environment. He spoke about the importance of understanding students’ psychological needs and addressing them to ensure a healthy educational setting. He also provided practical solutions to promote psychological awareness among teachers so they can offer the necessary psychological support to students.

The floor was then opened for questions and discussion, where attendees actively engaged with the speakers. This allowed for an exchange of experiences and ideas on how to apply these methods in real educational settings.
