A ministerial committee headed by the Dean of the College of Education at Al-Kitab University inspects the requirements of establishing a PhD in Physical Education at the University of Mosul.

A ministerial committee headed by Professor Dr. Uday Jasib Hassan, Dean of the College of Education at Al-Kitab University, conducted a field visit to the College of Education for Women / University of Mosul on Thursday, September 11, 2025, for the purpose of evaluating the requirements of establishing the PhD program in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. In line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in developing postgraduate programs and advancing the levels of scientific research in Iraqi universities.

The committee was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Hazem Korkis, Dean of the College, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and the Head of the Department, where the College presented its future plans and its capabilities supporting the achievement of the requirements of establishing the program.

During the visit, the human and material capabilities and the available infrastructure were reviewed, as well as the academic and research environment necessary for the success of the program. The committee included an elite of specialized professors from the Universities of Baghdad, Tikrit, and Anbar, contributing to ensuring the inclusiveness and objectivity of the evaluation.
