An instructor from the University of Al-Kitab assumes the editorship of a special issue of an international scientific journal

In a distinguished academic achievement, Dr. Reem Abu Asi, a faculty member at the University of Al-Kitab, has taken on the role of editor-in-chief for the thirteenth issue of Connections magazine, published by the Global Young Academy. This issue explored the theme “Bridging the Gap” from multiple perspectives, including the development of teaching methods, sustainability concepts, artificial intelligence applications, interdisciplinary scientific collaborations, and relevant environmental policies and legislation.

This issue was completed under the supervision and management of Dr. Reem Abu Asi and was printed and distributed during the Global Youth Conference held in India from June 10 to 14, 2025, with the participation of a select group of young scientists from around the world.

The issue also featured a special section highlighting one of the projects by students of the University of Al-Kitab as part of the activities of the Technology Incubator for Entrepreneurship and Ecosystem. It showcased the “Smart Recycling” project, implemented by students using plastic products on campus, as part of the university’s commitment to achieving sustainable development goals and promoting environmental innovation among its students.
