The College of Pharmacy at Al-Kitab University organized an awareness campaign on the occasion of World Autism Day, which falls on April 2, as part of its extracurricular activities aimed at promoting health and social awareness among students.
The campaign, held on the university campus on Monday, April 6, 2026, included the distribution of informational posters designed to raise awareness about autism spectrum disorder and highlight key approaches to interacting with affected individuals. It also featured a survey to measure students’ level of awareness regarding the disorder and their understanding of its various dimensions.
The initiative was supervised by faculty member Sara Mohammed Hamid, with the participation of a group of first-year students, who played an active role in delivering meaningful awareness messages aimed at fostering a culture of acceptance and community support for individuals with autism, while reinforcing the principles of positive integration within the university community.
