The Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Al-Kitab University, held a scientific seminar titled “The Role of Youth in Achieving Sustainable Development,” which was delivered by Professor Dr. Sami Dhiyab Mahal, attended by a number of faculty members, university staff, and students.
The seminar highlighted the importance of the youth’s role in supporting sustainable development pathways, clarifying their responsibility in building a society based on knowledge and innovation, as well as emphasizing the necessity of empowering them scientifically and professionally to contribute effectively to achieving developmental goals at economic, social, and environmental levels.
The lecturer emphasized during the seminar that academic institutions play a pivotal role in preparing conscious and qualified youth energies capable of keeping pace with contemporary challenges and formulating sustainable solutions that contribute to serving society and advancing the development process.
The seminar witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees through interventions and discussions that enriched its themes, and concluded with an affirmation of the university’s continued organization of scientific and intellectual activities that enhance awareness of the culture of sustainability and establish the role of youth as a key partner in development.
