Al-Kitab University participated in the events of the largest International Pharmacy Conference and Exhibition (IPA 2026), second edition, which was held in the capital, Baghdad, at Al-Abrar Hall over two days. The event saw broad participation from universities, academic and medical institutions and was attended by an elite group of experts and specialists in the field of pharmacy from Iraq and various countries worldwide.

Representing Al-Kitab University at this scientific event were the Scientific Assistant to the University President, Dr. Haza’ Dawood, and the Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Omed Omar, affirming the University’s commitment to active participation in international scientific forums.

The conference was attended by the President of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Haider Fouad Al-Sa’igh, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi, alongside a number of academics, researchers, and professionals specializing in pharmaceutical affairs.

The conference featured a comprehensive scientific program including specialized scientific sessions, expert lectures, in-depth professional discussions, and training workshops aimed at developing the pharmaceutical sector and keeping pace with the latest global advancements in this field.

Al-Kitab University emphasized that its participation in this international event is part of its strategy aimed at enhancing academic cooperation, engaging with global experiences, and exchanging scientific expertise.
