In the context of enhancing academic partnerships and expanding horizons of cooperation between the two universities, a twinning and scientific cooperation agreement was signed with the College of Law at the University of Kirkuk on Sunday, November 30, 2025, with the College of Law at Al-Kitab University.
This agreement comes as the result of a series of meetings and mutual visits between the two parties, embodying Al-Kitab University’s keenness to support scientific activity and enhance the quality of education and academic research.
Attending the signing ceremony from the University of Kirkuk were:
- Professor Dr. Murad Saib – Dean of the College of Law
- Professor Dr. Nozad Ahmed Yassin – Administrative Assistant
- Professor Dr. Raba’h Sulaiman – Head of the Law Department
- Professor Dr. Burhan Darwish – Head of the Political Science Department
From Al-Kitab University’s side:
- Professor Dr. Adnan Qader Al-Zangana – Dean of the College of Law
- Dr. Emad Khalil – Administrative Assistant
- Dr. Farhan Khurshid – Head of the Law Department

The agreement aims to exchange academic experiences, develop study plans and curricula, and implement joint research projects, which enhances the scientific environment and elevates the level of students and educational programs in both institutions.
