On Monday, 17 November 2025, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasem Mohammed, Dean of the College of Engineering Technology at Al-Kitab University, chaired the master’s thesis defense committee for graduate student Mirdin Shamal Saleh in the field of Information Technology (IT) at the Technical College of Informatics – Aqrah / Duhok.

The examination committee included a group of specialized academic staff in the field, and the defense was conducted in a scholarly atmosphere distinguished by rigor and objectivity. During the session, the student delivered a detailed presentation of her research, highlighting the scientific and applied aspects that contribute to the informatics sector.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasem Mohammed praised the student’s scientific performance, the efforts of the supervisors, and the significance of the thesis topic in keeping pace with recent advances in information technology. He emphasized that the participation of Al-Kitab University faculty members in postgraduate examinations across Iraqi universities reflects the university’s academic standing and reinforces its role in supporting scientific research and exchanging expertise.

At the conclusion of the session, the committee presented the necessary academic recommendations and wished the student continued success in her academic and research journey
