In the premises of Al-Kitab University, the activities of the Kirkuk International Street Theater Festival – Ninth Edition were launched, with the participation of a number of local and international theater troupes, and in the presence of a select group of artists, academics, and those interested in cultural and artistic affairs.

The festival included diverse theatrical performances presented in public spaces, addressing humanitarian, social, and national issues through innovative artistic methods that widely resonated with the audience, in a celebratory atmosphere that embodied the spirit of art and creativity.

The festival management confirmed that Al-Kitab University’s support comes within its framework of interest in enhancing the cultural and artistic movement in Iraq, and encouraging young talents to present theatrical works that express society’s aspirations and spread the values of peace, tolerance, and creativity.
