The College of Dentistry at Al-Kitab University organized an awareness seminar titled “Breast Cancer… Prevention and Early Detection,” as part of Pink October activities for awareness of this disease.

The seminar aimed to raise awareness among students and teaching staff about the importance of early detection and its role in increasing recovery rates and reducing health risks.

The seminar included three scientific lectures:

• Dr. Hanan Javad Kadhem presented a lecture addressing the general concept of breast cancer and its most prominent causative factors.
• Dr. Sabah Nouri Miz’al focused her lecture on prevention methods and the importance of self and periodic examination for early detection.
• Dr. Osama Hassan discussed the latest diagnostic means and modern treatments approved internationally.

The seminar witnessed significant interaction from the audience with many questions and inquiries. Organizers emphasized that such events reflect Al-Kitab University’s commitment to enhancing health awareness among students and society while supporting humanitarian and health initiatives that serve public interest.
