As part of the events for the global breast cancer awareness month (Pink October), the College of Nursing at Al-Kitab University organized an awareness seminar titled “Breast Cancer and its Prevention,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Reem Amer Naseef, and attended by a number of university professors and students.

The seminar addressed the importance of early detection and its role in increasing recovery rates, in addition to explaining the factors causing the disease and methods of prevention, while emphasizing the necessity of spreading health awareness among women and encouraging them to undergo periodic examinations.

This event comes within the efforts of Al-Kitab University to promote health culture among students and the community, and to support initiatives aimed at disease prevention and improving the quality of life.
