The Maharat Foundation, as part of its Future Gate project, organized a panel discussion titled “The Future of Media in the Digital Transformation Era” with the participation of a distinguished group of media and academic figures in Kirkuk Governorate.

The session hosted key speakers including Marwan Al-Ani, Head of the Kirkuk Branch of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate; the Director of Media and Government Communication at the Kirkuk Governor’s Office; and Shivan Adnan, Director of Media at Al-Kitab University, the official sponsor of the Future Gate Exhibition. The discussion was moderated and introduced by journalist and writer Firas Al-Hamdani, Director of the Iraqi Observatory for Press Freedoms in Kirkuk.
