University of Al-Kitab Participates in the Training Workshop Organized by the National Council for the Accreditation of Educational Group Programs

The University of Al-Kitab took part in a specialized training workshop organized by the Accreditation Department / Accreditation Councils Division for Scientific and Humanitarian Specializations, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Mosul. The workshop, entitled “Common Mistakes in Writing the Self-Evaluation Report and Compliance”, was held at the University of Mosul on Sunday and Monday, August 3–4, 2025, as part of the University’s continuous efforts to enhance its academic programs and ensure quality education.

The University was represented in the workshop by Dr. Imad Medhat Rifaat (Assistant Professor), Dr. Alaa Ahmed Mohammed, Dr. Farah Moayad Ahmed, and Assistant Lecturer Nashwan Abdulkarim Yahya.

The training addressed common errors encountered by universities when preparing self-evaluation reports, offering practical guidance on how to avoid these mistakes to ensure alignment with accreditation standards. The workshop also highlighted best practices for writing reports and documenting the necessary evidence required for academic accreditation.

The participation of the University of Al-Kitab in this workshop aligns with its strategic plan to strengthen quality assurance systems across its colleges and academic departments, and to obtain academic accreditation for its educational programs in accordance with national and international standards. This contributes to enhancing the University’s academic standing and ensuring the quality of its graduates to serve society and meet the needs of the labor market
