Al-Kitab University has launched the summer training program for students of the Aviation Technology Engineering Department in collaboration with the Royal Jordanian Aviation Academy, as part of the university’s plan to enable students to acquire applied and practical skills in a professional environment. This took place in the presence of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed.
The program includes students from the second and third stages for the academic year 2024–2025, where they will receive intensive training for two months covering theoretical and practical aspects, in addition to direct training on the academy’s certified aircraft.
This step came after coordination meetings with the academy’s administration, represented by His Excellency Pilot Dr. Mohammed Fayyad Al-Khawaldeh, Director General, and Captain Dr. Ouda Al-Khalayleh, Scientific Assistant, as well as the directors of training and administrative departments, to ensure the quality and integration of the training program stages.
The student housing building for male and female students was also inspected, confirming its readiness to ensure student comfort during the training period, and noting necessary observations to improve services.
An orientation meeting with participating students is scheduled for Sunday, 06/07/2025, to provide final instructions, reinforce values of discipline and responsibility, and reflect the honorable image of Al-Kitab University students and the reputation of Iraq.
