Al-Kitab University organized a specialized workshop titled “Cinema and Mobile Filmmaking”, with the participation of students and individuals interested in digital film production.
The workshop was led by Dr. Muntaha Tariq and Dr. Dlshad Mustafa, Head of the Cinema Department at the University of Sulaimani. The sessions covered modern techniques in smartphone filmmaking and their role in developing a new visual language that keeps pace with rapid digital transformations.
The two-day workshop includes:
- Live screenings of short films shot on mobile devices
- Discussions on cinematography techniques, shot angles, and modern editing/visual effects apps
- Emphasis on creative storytelling through imagery
This initiative aligns with Al-Kitab University’s ongoing efforts to:
