Al-Kitab University secured second place at the national level in the Photography Festival held in Babylon Province from March 16 to 20, 2025, hosted by Al-Mustaqbal University. The festival witnessed broad participation from 57 public and private universities across Iraq.

The event aimed to highlight the role of sustainable development in various aspects of life through photographic works that reflect both the challenges and opportunities in this field. A collection of photographs was exhibited, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation, community awareness, and balancing economic growth with the preservation of natural resources.

The festival attracted significant attention from both participants and the audience, providing an opportunity to showcase creative photographic works that reflect Iraqi youth’s perspectives on sustainable development issues. The participating photographs demonstrated remarkable progress in utilizing modern photography techniques to convey humanitarian and social messages in innovative ways.
