Al-Kitab University kicked off its journey in the Iraqi Universities 3×3 Basketball Championship with two impressive wins during the group stage qualifiers held at Ashur University in Baghdad. The event was held under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and supervised by the President of Ashur University, Professor Dr. Kadhim Abboud Al-Majidi, in cooperation with the Iraqi Federation of University Sports.

The Al-Kitab University team secured a victory over Al-Safwa University College with a score of 12-5, followed by another win against Al-Qalam University College. With these victories, the team strengthens its hopes of qualifying for the advanced stages of the championship, which includes 60 public and private universities.

This championship is one of the significant sporting events aimed at promoting the spirit of cooperation and competition among Iraqi universities in the field of university sports.
