Professor Dr. Uday Jaseb Hassan, Dean of the College of Education at Al-Kitab University, participated in the launch ceremony of the National Program Standards for Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Iraq, held at the University of Baghdad. The event was attended by a number of academic and ministerial figures.

The ceremony began with a speech by Professor Dr. Salah Hadi Al-Fatlawi, Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education, who emphasized the importance of these standards in enhancing the quality of academic education and improving the outcomes of colleges of physical education. This was followed by a speech from Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Chairman of the Deans’ Committee of Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, who highlighted the necessity for colleges to adhere to these standards to achieve academic excellence.

Dr. Yusra Mohammed Abdullah, Director of the Accreditation Department at the Ministry of Higher Education, also attended, along with members of the National Program Accreditation Council and a group of deans and department heads from colleges of physical education and sports sciences in Iraq. The launch of these standards marks a strategic step towards improving the quality of education and enhancing the capabilities of academic staff in this vital field.
