Department of Laser Cosmetics

about the department

The Department of Technical Laser Cosmetics at Al-Kitab University was established in December 2024 as a pioneering academic initiative to address Iraq’s growing demand for qualified laser aesthetics specialists. Our state-of-the-art facility features Iraq’s first dedicated laser training lab with 12 workstation suites equipped with the latest diode, Alexandrite, and CO2 laser systems. The department offers a 3-year intensive program combining dermatological sciences with hands-on laser operation training, graduating technicians certified in both safety protocols and advanced aesthetic procedures.
