Established in December 2024, the Department of Technical Construction and Building Engineering at Al-Kitab University pioneers modern construction education in Iraq. We bridge theoretical knowledge with practical skills in smart building technologies, sustainable materials, and innovative construction methods. Our program addresses Iraq’s urgent infrastructure needs while meeting global engineering standards, focusing on earthquake-resistant designs and green building practices. The curriculum combines traditional construction principles with cutting-edge BIM technologies and automation in construction.
