The second-year student at the College of Pharmacy at Al-Kitab University, Sajjad Faraj Kazim, received two certificates of participation for successfully passing two electronic scientific workshops. The first certificate was after passing a scientific workshop held by the University of Basra on 5/12/2020, in cooperation with the Pulse and Training Center in Iraq, while the second was from the University of Fallujah, held on 5/27/2020.

Under the slogan (#Kitab_University in the service of society) and on the occasion of #World_Pharmacist_Day, which falls on the twenty-fifth of September every year, the #College_of_Pharmacy at #Kitab_University organized a field exercise in both the Altun Kopri district and the center of Kirkuk city in Ghazi Mall.The members of the #College_of_Pharmacy at #Kitab_University, including lecturers and students, led by the Dean of the College, Dr. Nihad Abdul Wahab Muhammad, prepared a suitable location in the center of the Altun Kopri district with the support and assistance of the district director, to provide pharmaceutical advice and guidance and help the people of the area with diabetes screening and blood pressure measurement.In the afternoon of the same day, the students of the #College_of_Pharmacy at #Kitab_University, under the supervision of their professors, moved to conduct the same field exercise to the people of Kirkuk Governorate and chose Ghazi Mall to provide the same advice, guidance and pharmaceutical medical publications. The locals expressed their happiness with this practice, extending their thanks and appreciation to the #Faculty_of_Pharmacy at #AlKitab_University. The commemoration of #Pharmacist_Day comes to confirm #AlKitab_University’s approach to be a university in the service of society, and to contribute to strengthening the bonds of the relationship with the local community as an essential part of the university’s role in continuous communication with society.

Students of the Pharmacy Department at university of al-kitab organize a campaign to plant trees in the streets On the occasion of Newroz, and in the presence of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ayad Ghani Ismail, and the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Nihad Abdul Wahab, and in cooperation with the Municipality of Altun Kopri, the students of the Pharmacy Department organized (Sunday 3/18/2018) a campaign to plant trees in the streets of the Qara Bek area near the building of the College of Books University.This tree planting campaign comes within the framework of extracurricular activities and student initiatives for students of the Department of Pharmacy, within the framework of the curriculum of the university of al-kitab, which encourages and supports student initiatives.
