With the participation of the President of Al-Kitab University, Professor Dr. ayad Barzinji, the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Abdul-Ilah Hamid, and several college deans, Al-Kitab University organized an afforestation campaign on the occasion of National Afforestation Day. The campaign aimed to expand green spaces, combat desertification, and improve the environment.
The campaign witnessed the planting of numerous trees within the university campus and surrounding areas, with active participation from faculty members. A diverse selection of trees suitable for the local environment was chosen to enhance air quality and preserve biodiversity. This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to raising environmental awareness and developing green spaces within the community.
