Al-Kitab University College organized its First International Scientific Conference in collaboration with Lund University, Sweden, held in Baghdad at the Cristal Grand Ishtar Hotel, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa.
The conference spanned two days, from December 13–14, 2017, and witnessed extensive participation from several countries, including:
France, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Malaysia, Sweden, Finland, Libya, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Algeria, Syria, in addition to Iraqi universities.
Conference Statistics:
- Number of papers submitted: 330
- Number of papers accepted for publication: 250
- Fields covered: Medical Sciences, Engineering, Finance and Banking, and Humanities
The conference was attended by distinguished guests, including the Deputy Minister, Prof. Dr. Salam Khushnar, the Director of the Private Education Department, Prof. Dr. Ali Rizouqi, and several researchers from various Iraqi universities.
