A regular meeting of the Al-Kitab University Council was held today, Wednesday, headed by the University President, Dr. ayad Barzanji, and in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Hazza Daoud, in addition to the deans of colleges and heads of departments. During the meeting, mechanisms for monitoring the attendance and absence of students were discussed, with a focus on the importance of improving the system used to ensure student attendance.
The procedures followed by each college to follow up on absences were reviewed, and the necessity of forming field follow-up committees that would be responsible for implementing the mechanism effectively was emphasized. The solutions available to deal with cases of students exceeding the specified percentages of absence were also discussed, especially in repeated cases.
In this regard, the importance of issuing administrative orders to form committees and specifying the responsibilities of each member of the committee was emphasized. In addition, the importance of strengthening coordination between departments and colleges in order to monitor the situation periodically was emphasized.
At the conclusion of the meeting, University President Dr. ayad Barzanji stressed the need to intensify joint efforts among all concerned parties to improve the level of attendance and reduce the phenomenon of absences, with the aim of providing a disciplined and effective educational environment for students.
عُقد اليوم الاربعاء الاجتماع دوري لمجلس جامعة الكتاب برئاسة رئيس الجامعة الدكتور إياد برزنجي،وبحضور المساعد العلمي الدكتور هزاع داود، بالإضافة إلى عمداء الكليات ورؤساء الأقسام. وقد تم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة آليات متابعة حضور وغياب الطلبة، مع التركيز على أهمية تحسين النظام المتبع لضمان حضور الطلبة.
تم استعراض الإجراءات التي تتبعها كل كلية لمتابعة الغيابات، حيث تم التأكيد على ضرورة تشكيل لجان متابعة ميدانية تكون مسؤولة عن تنفيذ الآلية بشكل فعال. كما تم مناقشة الحلول المتاحة للتعامل مع حالات تجاوز الطلبة للنسب المحددة للغياب، خاصةً في الحالات المتكررة.
