Al-Kitab University hosts a meeting of deans of nursing colleges in Iraqi universities.
Al-Kitab University hosted today, Thursday 2024/7/4, a meeting of the deans of nursing colleges in Iraqi universities, where the event brought together an elite group of academics and specialists to discuss and exchange experiences on the latest developments in the field of nursing education. The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the President of Al-Kitab University, Professor Dr. Ayad Barzanji, who stressed the importance of academic cooperation between universities to improve the quality of education in this vital field.
The meeting witnessed extensive discussions on several pivotal topics, including developing curricula to keep pace with modern requirements in the field of health care, and ways to improve practical training programs for nursing students to ensure their readiness for field work after graduation. The attendees also touched on the importance of scientific research in developing nursing practices and reviewing successful experiences in this regard.
The meeting also highlighted the efforts made to enhance cooperation between nursing colleges across Iraq, with the aim of exchanging experiences and knowledge and achieving greater integration in academic programs. A number of joint initiatives were agreed upon, including organizing workshops and training courses for teaching staff and students, in addition to exchanging academic visits.
At the end of the meeting, the deans of the nursing colleges were honored by the President of Al-Kitab University and the President of Kirkuk University, in appreciation of their efforts in developing nursing education and improving the level of health services in Iraq. The participants expressed their thanks to Al-Kitab University for its generous hosting, and stressed the continuation of joint work to achieve the goals of nursing education and improve the level of health services provided in Iraq.
