Signing a memorandum of scientific and academic cooperation between the University of al-kitab and the prestigious Scottish University of Strathclyde
A delegation from Al-Kitab University visited today (Friday) the University of Strathclyde/Glasgow, Scotland.
The delegation included Professor Dr. Iyad Barzanji, President of Al-Kitab University, Mr. Yaqoub Najm Al-Din, and Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Omid Darwish.
During the visit, a memorandum of joint scientific and academic cooperation was signed between Al-Kitab University and the prestigious Scottish University of Strathclyde.
The memorandum was signed by Al-Kitab University, its president, Professor Dr. Iyad Barzanji, while it was signed by its president, Professor Jim MacDonald, for the University of Strathclyde.
The University of Strathclyde was founded in 1796, and is the second oldest university in Glasgow. The university obtained a royal charter in 1964 as the first technological university in the United Kingdom.
