The Indian Professor, Lashk, gives a lecture about “Water Pollution in Iraq” At Al-Kitab University

The Indian Professor at the College of Pharmacy of Al-Kitab University, Shan Lashk, has given a lecture on Tuesday the 18^th of December, 2018, entitled “the problem of water pollution in Iraq and how to solve it by polymer thin films”.  The Dean of The college of farmacy, Prof. Dr. Nihad Atrooshy has given an introduction to the lecture which was highly appreciated by the audience proceeded by the president of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayad Ismaeel, and the Deputy for the scientific affairs, Dr. Lateef Nouri.

The lecture has tackled the problem of water pollution in Iraq with chemical materials, and microbes. It has also tackled the problem of plastic materials (polymers) that are used for water bottling as a main source for cancer. It is worth mentioning that India has enacted regulations this year that prohibit using these materials and the Iraqi government should follow the example. Prof. Lashk has also answered the questions and appreciated the comments concerning the topic.
